A very prestigious government scholarship MONBUKAGAKUSHO/MEXT under Ministry of Education of Japan funded during his Ph.D program. Ahmmed also achieved scholarship for higher education in M.Phil program. A new technique of gas exchange mechanism along real scale bronchial channel of human lung is introduced by Ahmmed in his Ph.D program. MHD flow simulation along wavy surface was examined during his M. Phil work also.

Dr. Ahmmed presented his research works in many international conferences (PIV, VOF, ICME etc.) held in different countries (viz. Japan, Australia, South Korea, France and Bangladesh). Professor Ahmmed published a good numbers of articles in reputed international and national scientific journals.

He has a research group named as Computational Fluid Dynamics Forum (CFDF) including M.Sc., M. Phil., Ph. D students and researchers. The above mentioned achievements lead him to the research interests: (i) Bio-flow measurement by Lab experiment (ii) Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and (iii) Mathematical modeling and simulations of PDE.

STAR-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent 19.2, proVISION, MATLAB, FORTRAN and MATHEMATICA (for computation), EnSight and Tecplot (for visualization) SolidWorks, CorelDRAW, Inkscape (for drawing) are the research tools of Professor Ahmmed.
